Description: I was driving, and I noticed this waste next to the road. ADMIN: DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to the Imperial County Environmental Health Department.

Description: On June 14, 2016 at 7:58 pm I was driving behind Paloma Apartments and drove behind the property into the alley way and found couches and mattresses. On N 1st Street Brawley, CA. ADMIN: DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to Imperial County Environmental Health Department.

Description: On June 13, 2016 around 12:17 pm I was driving toward Imperial Ave when I noticed that there was a huge cloud of smoke coming from Hovely road area by Express Way in Brawley, CA. The smoke was reaching Barbra Worth Junior High School and residential areas children were outdoors doing lunch break.
Admin: DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to APCD.

Description: Accident and traffic jam...it's 115 degrees outside. No sign it's being cleared up and we've been sitting here in the heat for more than 30 minutes...hopefully people have enough water and hopefully their cars aren't overheating

EJ Taskforce: Update that the truck was a hay truck that caught on fire.

Description: Elm equipment water truck pulling water from canal. Possibly not permitted!?

Admin: DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to IID. Trucks are allowed to pull water from canals. For certain projects, they are required to have a permit from IID in order to use water from the canal. These permits can be verified by contacting the IID office responsible for the region.

Description: Plastic bottles are in canal way that have been dumped there. Canals are owned by Imperial Irrigation District, which usually cleans these canals when time allows. Canal is the smaller canal that is on the Barbara Worth Street close to the stop sign when you come down on Ross. On your right hand side when driving from West to East on Ross. Possibly people working in the nearby fields throw their waste in canals ways. Farmers who supervise the workers need to bring more awareness to not polluting water ways.

Admin: DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to the IID. Pollution is not allowed and they have sent out staff to investigate this complaint.

Description: Since Saturday April 30, 2016 around 12pm to Sunday May 1, 2016 at 8:00am three locomotor engines has been idling without any movement of cars. The constant noise make it difficult to sleep. Locomotor engine # 4450, 8222 and 4434. Concern parent for side effects of engine emissions around child with asthma.

Admin: Complaint forwarded to APCD, will discuss this during the EJ Taskforce meeting with ARB representative to determine the correct agency responsible for this issue.

Admin: Not enough information is provided. The report says there is waste near the canal but the address is next to the court.

Description: 150 yards east of the canal take the trail to the right. Possible used oil.

Admin: DTSC Imperial CUPA has created this as a complaint and investigated the site. The area that was described was a dumping ground for multiple different kinds of items but did not have the used oil as shown in the picture. Action is in process for being forwarded to the correct agency(ies) for clean-up.
