The area is surrounded in broken rope that is supposed to stop the kids from wandering off, the new river is beyond the ropes. The New River Is best known for its pollution and all the diseases, many people that i found that fell in have had serious side effects

Description: The area in which I found the New River and the garbage surrounding it is right next to Del Rio Country Club and on highway 111 . This area is very disgusting with tons of garbage like mattresses, tires and wastes just thrown here. People think of this area as a dumping ground and don't care that it's hurting the environment. In the New River, there is pesticides and raw sewage. The smell is horrific. This river has no natural water source, only irrigation drainage and industrial waste. This river is famous for its pollution and was once considered the most polluted river in America. There is a bunch of foam in the river and you can barely even see. It is not healthy or safe for immigrants going across the river. Residents have even revealed skin rashes, nausea, dizziness and many other medical problems due to the toxic river.

Description: New River pollution. The New River is full of pollution and is further polluted my the dumping of waste and run off, from it's start in Mexico to it's end in the Salton Sea. The New River causes possible health issues because of its contaminated water that can cause health complications with prolonged periods of exposure. The New River runs right next to 2 parks in brawley, pas Williams park and cattle call. The river is especially an issue in the area because many children play right next to this extremely contaminated and polluted water source.

Description: The New River is a bio hazard due to its polluted waters and littered area around it, including plastic bags, broken glass, and discarded cloth . The New River also emits a foul smell.

Description: There is a mess, it should be cleaned up, it may be possible for it to pollute the community. It could produce bacteria.

Description: It appears to be an old mattress, a stroller and some other sold waste on the side of the road. It has been there since around October.

Description: Smelly water and moss in New River at Patt Williams Park. Smelly water is a a bad smell and causes headaches to runners and fishermen.

Description: This is another abandoned burned down building that has been there for a couple of months. There's many reasons it should be removed , !st it gives an ugly appeal to the city, making it seem abandoned and like trash, 2nd anybody can throw a cigarette or light it up and cause something harmful, not to mention it could pollute our air.
