Description: This past weekend my family and I were out at Pat Williams Park in the morning, when I noticed that a white truck pulled up with a large trailer. The trailer had been filled with a bunch of waste, that included a large couch and a lot of trash bags. They were out back on the mountain/hill type of area where you can clearly see what they were about to do. They started to dump all of their trash very carelessly.

Description: These are pictures and a video clip of the polluted Alamo River in Calipatria. This river is very dirty and polluted as you can tell by the pictures/ videos. It has pesticides from farm run off, it is polluted with fertilizer and people also like to feel free and dump their trash here. This river dumps into the Salton sea, which is also polluted, and can cause damage to wildlife.

Description: The Salton Sea is a very important issue that we have here in the valley. As beautiful as it could be, it causes many problems. One has to do with it's smell. The reason why it smells so much is because hydrogen sulfide is being bubbled up from the lake. The smell can relate to the odor of rotten eggs Because of the lake's high level of fertilizer supporting dense algal blooms, and it's lack of oxygen because of those algae populations, bacteria breeds on the lake releasing the gas, causing not only the residents that live around there to smell it, but the whole Coachella Valley. The scent is only a small factor as to why the Salton Sea is a harm to people. One of the main reasons is its desert winds. The more the lake shrinks due to swift evaporation and the reduction in agricultural runoff which use to be the lake's most important water source, the more that the dust winds will pick up. That is a huge threat to people that have asthma. It's also a threat to people that don't have asthma because the dust that picks up contains pesticides which could be toxic.

Description: Although pesticides are essential for agriculture here in Brawley ,Pesticides that are not carefully contained can cause contamination within your surrounding and can put your health at risk .If you were to work in a field were pesticides are being used make sure to wear the appropriate clothing and shoes,if contaminated shoes are brought home it would be safer if kept outside.Pesticides can also affect your health such as you lungs if inhaled or other vital organs if consumed.

The area is surrounded in broken rope that is supposed to stop the kids from wandering off, the new river is beyond the ropes. The New River Is best known for its pollution and all the diseases, many people that i found that fell in have had serious side effects

Description: An abandoned house is a solid waste, because it is has been disposed of, burned, incinerated, and sham recycled. Broken windows, pieces of broken glass, hazard to animals and humans, was vandalized upon. Enegry box near the area. can cause an explosion if broken.
