No Electricity at Night

Status: Unresolved

Date: Saturday 27 August 2011 13:13 PM

Address: 88-701 Thermal CA. 92274

Description: On Wednesday 24, 2011, the electricity went off from around the hours 10:00pm to 12:30am at ''Oasis Mobile Home Park 88-701 Ave.70 Thermal CA. 92274''. Being that most of these trailers are old (AC air would never refresh the entire home) and to lessen the expense of electricity, most people only use a small AC in the rooms where they sleep at night. Probably no more than 20 minutes passed (or less) when the hot temperatures heightened, and going outside would be worst. In my home, we got pieces of hard cardboard in our hands to fan air over our younger siblings to keep them from waking up. Meanwhile, we kept thinking of how many families around here have newborn babies and how more difficult this situation would be for them. Having electricity is important and ever so essential in these times of rising heat in the weather.
