Description: Solid wastes are being dumped into canal, creating a blockage. Wastes include, Styrofoam cups, a toy ball, planks of wood and glass bottles. Appears to be decomposing.

Description: These are geothermal plants that claim that they produce natural and eco-friendly power. But as you can see they still create many types of air pollutants which makes bad air quality in the valley since, there are geothermal plants all around the valley. The chemicals produce in the geothermal process are carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrogen sulfide(H2S), ammonia(NH3), methane(CH4), nitrogen(N2), hydrogen(H2), argon(Ar), benzene(C6H6), sulfur dioxide(SO2), nitrogen dioxide(N2O), sulfur oxides(SOX), carbon monoxide(CO), particulate matterPM10), and nitrogen oxides(NOX).Carbon dioxide is a health effect which causes ymptoms such as rapid breathing, rapid heart rate, clumsiness, emotional upsets, fatigue and nausea and vomiting, collapse, convulsions, coma and death can occur. Hydrogen sulfide is an health issue that causes nausea, headaches, delirium, disturbed equilibrium, tremors, convulsions, and skin and eye irritation and Inhalation of high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide can produce extremely rapid unconsciousness and death. Ammonia is a health issue which causes Rhinorrhea, Scratchy throat, Chest tightness, Cough, Dyspnea, and Eye irritation. Methane is a health issue headache, nausea, dizziness, or drowsiness. Nitrogen is a health issue may cause dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, excess salivation, diminished mental alertness, loss of consciousness, and ultimately: death. Hydrogen is a causes headaches, ringing in ears, dizziness, drowsiness, unconsciousness, nausea, vomiting and depression of all the senses. Argon is a health issue causes suffocation, Dizziness. Dullness. Headache. Suffocation. Some pollutants can produce health issues and bad air quality here in the valley and a list of side effects is listed below. These chemicals are harmful and made by man while some are natural. some of the chemicals produce by the geothermal plant are greenhouse gases .its not a scientific fact but most of the earthquakes in the valley are known to occur near geothermal sites. They also cause the reservoirs can contain traces of toxic heavy metals including mercury, arsenic and boron.

Description: Solid Waste being dropped off at location every week varying from couches, mattresses, chairs, and cabinets. Trailer park is abandoned and solid waste has been stacking up next to dumpster and various places around the area.

Description: On Feb 27, 201u drove by alley and noticed these tries, recliner and a washer machine in Brawley.

Description: This building was on fire in the morning, producing clouds of smoke going into the atmosphere. Hours later in the afternoon when i passed through main street some smoke was still coming out, this means this incident lasted for a long time causing some air pollution. ***ADMIN: The Brawley Fire Department is monitoring this property.

Description: Waste disposed in a burned abondoned building over years. Some homeless Mexicali citizens are living in there. The items disposed include plastic and glass bottles, cardboard, motor oil, tires, tree branches, and many other things.

Description: I was able to see black smoke coming from Truck Company. I was not able to get the company's name due to lack of visibility but it seems that Company manages materials. Next to company is Westmorland Basic Christian School. I was not able to see any children around the christian school but there were many houses around. Burning was happening around 1:00 pm when at the same time there was another agricultural burning happening. Probably burning was happening to take advantage of the bigger burning.

Description: Agriculture burning less than 2 miles from Westmorland Elementary School. Even though there was some wind blowing southwest, the smoke was able to be smelled at the school. Wesmorland Elementary School called us for recommendations. I was able to go to the school and take some pictures from the school, but burning was dying down. Burning was around 12:00 pm.
