In 12th-century China, judges wore sunglasses with smoked quartz lenses to hide their facial expressions — perhaps to retain their dignity or not convey emotions.

The main stage, headlined by Miss Monique and Cosmic Gate, was a bright spot, but that’s where the positives ended. The “Yin-Yang” stage had continuous sound disruptions, ruining sets by DJs like Elena Benet and Roman YadzZ. For the ticket price, I expected a much smoother experience.
