Suggestion is to have a study in that area for Benzene and that way might be able to get data to prove if it is significantly impacting that community.

Description:
If the levels are above the maximum permissible levels and someone reports that they got sick and their blood shows high levels of benzene, then either the levels of permissibility have to be lowered since a persons health has been affected. Levels should be monitored as to being safe and not causing medical problems to any person and even is there is one person who might be sensitive. We have to check that those levels have not affected others in that same area to prove that they need to now change the levels to a lower number of affecting the public.

AQMD's report shows benzene including at the Saul Martinez site but supposedly the levels are not above maximum permissible levels (see link on this report)
