Environment in Slab City

On daily basis people from around the Imperial Valley come to dump their unwanted items and their wastes from home. From mattresses to cars to even toys. This is illegal dumping. Leaving all this waste in the middle of nowhere can bring diseases, contamination, pollution, and making The Valley look trashy. In these pictures you can see unworking cars, dolls, kitchen utensils like stoves and microwaves, used up tires and even abanded old buildings. This area has been like this for the past years.
