environmental science project!

For my environmental science project I took pictures of the New River that flows through the valley towards the Salton Sea. The New River is very polluted, it's referred to as the most severely polluted river of its size in the US, the river flow isn't natural at all it consists of agricultural runoff, municipal discharge and industrial dumping. The New River contains pesticides known as DDT and PCBs it also contains pathogens that cause many illnesses some being tuberculosis, encephalitis, polio, and ect. This River is very harmful to the environment and it's frightful to think that you can see this River at a park where many children play at. If nobody helps fix the pollution rate in the New River which flows into the Salton Sea it'll most likely increase in toxicity!
