Description:
In this intersection there is a strong smell of sewer all the time and you can smell it from inside your car.
Administrator Comment: 04/04/2017: The DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to the City of Brawley. 04/11/2017: Response - A Public Works Department work order was created 4.6.2017 for the Streets & Utilities Division to evaluate the odor complaint. Once the Streets & Utilities Division confirmed a sewer odor lingering at the intersection of Main St. & Eastern Avenue, staff repaired 2 p-traps and installed others in the drain inlets at the intersection in 4.10.2017. P-traps stop sewer gases from emanating outward.
