Description
On December 29 of 2015 at 12:55pm I was driving Highway 86 entering Imperial I noticed a resident was Bruning twigs and bark. Close to Frank Wright Middle School.
Admin: DTSC Imperial CUPA has forwarded this complaint to the APCD.
Result: APCD responded that as long as the area is outside city limits, burning is permitted unless it causes a nuisance to others (burning near a school is allowed if it during a time when students are not at school AKA weekends or breaks). This location is under the area code for the city of Imperial but outside the city limits, so this burning vegetation/branches is allowed.
