Caltrans has been notified. The light is obstructing the righthand side of the southbound lanes. Rain has also flooded and forced the closure of Ogilby Road north of Interstate 8, the CHP has reported. The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the county, and is expected to impact the cities of Brawley, Calexico and El Centro. High winds in excess of 60 mph are expected in the area as well as dust storms. The thunderstorm warning is in effect until 7:15 p.m. while the dust storm warnig is in effect until 8 p.m.
