Response: Imperial County Agricultural Commissioner staff looked into this complaint. While the complainant had good intentions, this complaint could not be substantiated. There was no record of a pesticide application at that time and place, nor was application equipment observed. When you suspect that a pesticide application is occurring wrongfully, please be sure to look for application equipment and whenever possible take pictures.
